My car told me it was -3°C as I drove to Wickhambreaux this morning. The sun was low in the sky and the fields were full of frost. It was a beautiful drive. I spent a very entertaining day with Herbie. He is very good at amusing his grandmother. The Fire Lizard from Frozen II was very helpful during a maths session. We ate eggs and Gala pie with cucumber and tangerines to keep our energy levels up. Mine more than Herbie's. Raffy and Hetty were full of stories after school. It was a wonderful day that has been full of precious memories.
We are watching another programme with a twisted plot called Safe. Perfect for a Wednesday evening in front of the woodburner eating lentil stew.

Morning Kate what a lovely surprise to hear from you with a lovely Frosty Field postcard. It made me realise how lazy I have been with my painting… I go to an art workshop once a month but I should do more. I’d love to meet up in Larkins too or perhaps a coffee in Arthur’s? Thank you you’ve made this rather dull day shine!
