Our friends Ewen and Chris dropped in on their way from Normans Bay to Croydon. Blimey they have had a busy year with a wedding in Warsaw, one daughter and family moving to Norwich and another moving to Malaysia. We had a slippery muddy walk to The Woodcock, stopped to refresh then walked back to Benenden. We came home to soup Tim made that I accompanied with curried egg sandwiches. The cat and the woodburner purred in the background.
