Tim and I spent the day trying to tame the garden. Tim had a chain saw making more logs for our woodburner. I was on my knees clearing ferns away from snowdrops. We both had our earbuds in listening to audio books so there wasn't much verbal communication between us.
We changed out of our filthy jeans to meet June and Barry for an early evening drink at The Three Chimneys. It was the perfect way to end the afternoon sat in front of the woodburner with friends.
Today's postcard goes to one of those very dear friends who we first met when we lived in Seal nearly 40 years ago. We have made many happy memories in those years. We met when our first born were babies and now they have children of their own making us very proud Gorgeous Grannies.
