Thursday, 17th May 2018 - Michael and Gabriel

A gift bottle of wine from my guests is sitting on my kitchen table. It would have been rude to say I would prefer chocolate wouldn't it. It was very kind and thoughtful and of course I deeply appreciate the gesture.

A terrible thing happened today. It is a 500 calorie day. I ate a piece of toast with butter without even thinking about it. Probably all my allowance in one fell swoop. Thank goodness for cup-a-soup and Options hot chocolate.

Tonight it was a joint Morris venture at The Stilebridge. The Weald of Kent danced alternately with the lively Loose Women. We went in the MG with its top off. It was cold there and even colder coming home.
