Sunday, 20th May 2018 - No 4445

I have been wondering where to dry my oil paintings. Not having much horizontal surface spare but plenty of vertical. Only one answer. Hang them on the walls in my studio. They look great with a mix of finished but wet, finished and dry, virgin canvas and the rest with coloured grounds. Perfect solution and I didn't hit any wires or pipes with the nails in the hanging and banging.

Tony and Wendy came with us on a walk across, around, up and down the fields of Benenden. We sat outside and made six pizzas with our Giles and Posner pizza oven. Great little machine. For a crispy bottom the optimum time is four minutes from hitting the stone. I am feeling very full.
