Tuesday, 16th January 2018 - 'Stuck-in-the-Mud'

A day of doing bits like the ironing and bathroom cleaning. Tim has finished the hedge and has taken the hornbeams to an acceptable height. The hornbeams may diasgree. Only a slight facial injury from a rose thorn or two. We now have an enormous bonfire, lots of posts, bean (I need to acquire some to plant) sticks and wood chippings.

It was wet and muddy in the village. Bella wanted to see what the workmen were up to in the street. They were digging a hole. Hetty windmilled her way out of school, around, under and over the playground equipment and finished off her high energy levels in the garden making a den amongst the trees.

I should have done my tax return. At this point in the day I am far too too tired for maths.
