Saturday, 20th January 2018 - After Coffee, Cake and a Sausage Roll

I woke to find a text message inviting me out for coffee....well, yes!!!

We packed a lot into our two hours of free parking.

I went to Hoop. I got mesmerised by the ribbon, buttons, wool, patterns, needles (there are some very pretty ones) - it is a wondrous shop. I learnt you can get interchangeable tipped needles. They can be circular or with the help of an allen key made straight. Apparently dental tape and life lines are very important and useful when knitting Fairisle. All this can be found on YouTube.

I am sticking to knitting hats for Herbie.
