Sunday, 25th February 2024 - Washing off Much Mud

Tim spent the morning creating and cosseting (in between fixing my cranky emails) French sticks. I have to admit that they were much better than the softer versions I make. We ate them with spicy lentil soup (that I had made and was very delicious I proudly say) after a very muddy walk with John and Diane. We made it back before the yellow weather warning for rain set in. Bobby, their dog, had a heart stopping close escape. His lead broke. He went one way. A car swerved the other. We spent the rest of the afternoon recovering from the near death experience eating and drinking with the woodburner fending off the cold.
