Under the shade of an oak tree by our home there is a group of celandine. The flowers open in the sun and shut at night. I looked them up on Google. They symbolise 'Joy to Come'. I think we all need a bit of this. The warm sun has felt so good today.
A drink at The Ewe and Lamb with friends was a good way to end a busy day. I like the atmosphere there very much. I think it is a combination of subtle lighting, an open fire and good company.
I am sending this card to Esther who will be getting married later this year and be becoming Mrs Joy - very appropriate I thought.
