Sarah and I had coffee and shared a bacon roll with chilli jam in our favourite cafe, Wendy's. I was grateful to have a friend to take my mind of a niggling worry. We rummaged through the shelves of the charity shops. This resulted in us both leaving with a carrier bag of books and toys for our grandchildren.
I have mastered the angle of the lino cutting blade to make fine lines. It's all about the right angle. Very satisfying achievement.
