All 20 minutes of it this afternoon. Harriet and I grappled the girls into coats and wellies. We took full advantage, writing in it, making footprints and looking under a microscope. I don't think I have ever taken so much joy in the delights of such a short snow shower. I recommend a grandchild or two to make you see the small lovely things about us.
We have a glut of eggs. I searched for a recipe and found one in a shabby chic copy of Delia Smith's Frugal Food cookbook. Poached eggs enveloped in spinach soufflé. I reduced our clutch by ten.
