The first to Cocolicious to meet with Sarah and Jane, who has returned from visiting her daughters and grandchildren in Australia. Very good coffee and chocolate cake and coffee. It was good to discuss the highs and lows of art classes with Jane.
I purchased some very dangerous looking sewing needles and a box of dressmaking pins to continue my curtain project. Finished in time to get them on the rails for bedtime. Great going Grandma.
The second outing was to The Holt at Salehurst for a late Valentines meal (not terribly intimate with a crowd)) with Sarah, Nigel, Mike and Karen. There seemed to be some overpayment problem with the bill. Could have been the fault of the rather astringent brandy do you think Nigel?
