Sunday, 10th June 2018 - Biddenden Food Festival

After sorting out the morning we met Sarah and Nigel at Biddenden. The vineyard has an annual food fair. It was teeming with stalls and people. We fought our way heroically through the crowds. Sarah and I were sampling and eating ice cream. I have a favourite. Coffee and Cobnut by the Simply Ice-Cream people with the blue van. Tim and Nigel were left to purchase many bags of delicious delights to take back to Sarah and Nigel's for lunch. They had to stop for a beer refreshment. We sat in the garden for many hours talking and eating and drinking. Sarah seemed coherent when we left but a typo-ed text message from her indicated the cider was quite strong. Thank you for hosting us for so long. Your roses are looking splendid.
