I have been thoroughly spoilt today with many gorgeous presents from my daughter and son for Mother's Day. Each one was thoughtful. It's great being a Mum. It makes missing my Mum less painful.
We celebrated Raffy's 11th birthday a day early. Harriet made a delicious birthday cake with fruit, herbs and Schleich animals that got dangerously close to the candles. Tom, Lottie, Fable and Tui joined us for pass-the-parcel. There were made up games in the garden that were beyond my comprehension and included a lot of running about and arm flapping. I loved watching them. What a great day I have had.
