Friday, 27th July 2018 - Herbie and Runner Beans

Tim and I looked after all three grandchildren for a very brief period this afternoon. They helped us gather our runner bean harvest with gusto and enthusiasm. Wow. Harriet and Brett I admire your coping skills enormously.

I heard that Mum was feeling down. I have been neglectful with my visiting so called in to find her scantily clad. It was a bit of a shock. I hope once the heat has abated she will wear a bit more clothing for my next visit. I suppose it is good she has the confidence at 85 to let it all hang out.

There is thunder rumbling this evening. A short and explosive downpour has cooled a very humid day.
