This rose is rambling through the hedge. Apparently (I was informed by a guest) that Vita disliked it so much she would not allow it at Sissinghurst. More fool her, it is beautiful.

I had a very early start to the day but have got through it without an afternoon nap. Is Mr Holford doing a good job. I hope so.
This rose is rambling through the hedge. Apparently (I was informed by a guest) that Vita disliked it so much she would not allow it at Sissinghurst. More fool her, it is beautiful.
