It has been a sunny day to watch Tim cutting the hedge while I pottered.
A friend of ours set out at 4.30am and swam the channel. Ten hours and 40 minutes later he arrived in France. What an amazing feat of endurance.
It was warm enough this evening to have a drink in the garden with our lovely tenants who will be leaving us soon.
