What a glorious day I have had with Nick and Alli taking us to Faversham. The 'boys' toured the brewery. Alli and I had coffee in the sun and pondered the shops. There was a poet-in-residence in one shop who offered to immortalise us in words. She might have done after I purchased a birthday gift but we didn't enquire.
Nick suggested a pub for lunch. It has been updated since his last visit. No spit and sawdust any longer. Wine at lunchtime is such a good idea at the time. I came home and had to have a bit of a lie down. Thank you for our day out.
