What an odd mix of a day. A late start after a restless night.
I worked out a puzzle - more of this after Christmas or it will spoil the surprise.
Stuff and necessary nonsense performed in the home.
I visited Dad. The most traumatic experience of my life. Dad I am so proud of you. It involved oxygen, suction, drips, nebulizer and some amazing and incredible staff. I hope you have a peaceful night Dad.
A trip to Tesco which filled our trolley (Tim met me as I was in a bit of a state) with 10p bargains.
Back home where I tucked into a bottle of delightful pink cava.
Tom I have got a bottle of Midori and Advocaat for your squashed frogs. Becoming one of my favourite Christmas delights.

That's quite a busy day so close to the Christmas madness that approaches. I'll try to remember the complicated recipe for squashed frogs, it gets much harder after a few trial and errors! I presume, then, this Christmas won't be so alcohol free ;-)
ReplyDeleteI really hope Grandad is comfortable and not too frightened, it's so good you're close by to regularly visit and comfort him.
Only two more days til I'm back!!! :-D
Love you xxx
