Thursday, 20th August 2015 - Eupatorium cannabinum

I thought this pink fluffy beauty growing at the side of the road would smell delicious. It has disappointed me with no perfume at all.

I have started reading a book first printed in 1944 by Harold Speed about oil paining. He was talking about his dislike of modern abstract art which he equated to the masses swearing due to now being partially educated and not having the knowledge of vocabulary to express themselves. I sort of laugh snorted while reading as I kind of agree.

Tim has been rejecting my offer of jacket potatoes all week. He gave in this evening. I love the crispy skin and soft inside.
