Monday, 18th February 2013 : 9:06:14am - Signs of Spring

Another sunny morning.

We went to Bexhill. We visited Bill who Tim worked with 30 years ago. He had collected and kept engineering magazines for the last 50 years to give to Tim. We now have a very well insulated house.

Harriet was confident to be taking the bus with 18 month old Hetty, in a sling, to her Breast Feeding Counselling graduating party in Whistable. At over 38 weeks pregnant I was not so confident and very pleased to hear that she was back home safely.

I have polyanthus springing forth in the garden but am not sure what the chive looking plant will become.

  1. Have you considered that it might be grass?

  2. The grass family is the most abundant flowering plant-life in the world with over 9000 species covering more than one-fifth of the Earth. Did you know, for example, that sugar cane is also a member of the grass family?
