Wednesday, 17th September 2025 - Tiny Pear in Oil XVII

A lovely morning for having coffee at my sister’s while we watched Tim from the kitchen window mending a bird table. With in five minutes of a feeder full of seeds being hung a robin visited. Good result.

Back home it took me until nearly 3pm to get the rooms ready for guests. Not sure what I was faffing about doing!!! I ticked ironing off my list. Well done me.

I was ready to send a complaint to Tescos about the poor quality of their T bags. Recently they have split in my mug. It was the vigorous stirring with a serrated grapefruit spoon that was the culprit.

I harvested one of two humbug pears from the tree in the garden for today’s painting. What a pretty model.
