My guests had a variety of eggs and pastries this morning that took a lot of concentration to get the right plate to the right guest. I couldn't quite get enough oomph to get the rooms done before heading out for a Weald of Kent Art Society committee meeting. We have lots planned over the next year. The next exhibition is in June. I think I will get a collection of tiny paintings together. I have a collection of those thin scarves that the sophisticated amongst us wear. I put one on today. It didn't get the thumbs up from Tim. I will have to ask Alli. There must be a technique. She always looks good in hers.
Tony and Wendy came in the dark of night to collect their two chickens we have been caring for. They have been trained to come when we call. I love seeing them run to us for their soaked bread crusts and grapes. One has been laying an egg a day. I wonder if she is still with us or gone to pastures new.
