A few train journeys later Tim and I arrived in Brussels. Our apartment is up a very narrow winding staircase that was difficult to negotiate with bags but much better after a couple of beers. We met Steve and Kim ( with our tenet for Bruges tomorrow) in La Becasse. It means The Woodcock and recommend to us by Tony and Wendy while we were drinking in the Iden Green version. A four cheese pizza was a good way to end the day. It is lovely to be away but I do miss my family.
