After I had dragged myself out of bed. My bed was warm and snuggly. It was a chilly morning. I stripped off the bedding and stuffed it in the washing machine. I am looking forward to going to bed tonight. There is something lovely about clean bedding. But before I could do that I had a lovely day.
The Bell and Jorrocks is a lovely place to go for lunch. I had a ham and mustard ciabatta with a few chips and a bit of salad. It was just what I desired. Alli and Suzy were my lunch buddies. We had some very interesting conversations. I love a lunch with friends. When we were at Nick and Alli's last week I admired - in a not too a subtle way - the hellebores that adorned the dinner table. Today Alli gifted me with my very own. Thank you it is beautiful. A lovely subject for today's postcard.
