In between spells of disgusting wet and windy weather I potted up some bulbs from my sister which are going to give me delight in the spring and some very scraggly looking perennial plants that I had ordered through the internet. I was assured, after sending an email with picture attached, that they are meant to look leafless and twiggy as they are in their dormant phase. I wonder if that is where I have been for the last month or so?
Our grandson Herbie was six yesterday. We celebrated with him and his family with animal shaped sandwiches, presents, cake and candles and Bombay Mix. Such a wonderful little man he is growing up to be.
