Storm Ciaran kept up with impressive amounts of rain today. We were fortunate just to have a few tree branches broken. Our chickens have very wet tail feathers. It did keep me inside for the majority of the day. I listened to an audio crime thriller and made a very tasty vegetarian chilli to take to a party tomorrow night.
The warmth of the woodburner at Caxton Cottage tempted Tim and I. We were accompanied by a glass or two of wine and nibbles. Back home we watched the new Frasier. I love it already. I have taken up knitting hand warmers to stop me snacking. I have found I can snack and knit!!!
